The need
Innovex UK needed to energise and skill their senior managers to lead their teams and shape
their environment to the benefit of Innovex as a whole. These managers had already received training in the essential management principles- they were looking for something different to take these people to the next level. The
client wanted our programme to effect long term change within the individuals and enable then to instigate change within all levels of the organisation. Additionally it had to deliver WOW factor, practical tools and the latest
leadership research and thinking.
The solution
We designed a proposal to deliver a powerful learning and development experience producing
lasting behavioural change.
The participants:
Explored latest leadership research & thinking and applied the learning to Innovex ( materials: a case study on Jack Welch’s leadership of GE /
Kooter’s 4 traits of leaders / The Semco Story)
Addressed key principles behind empowerment and remote management
Established leadership styles and developmental needs from MBTI type
Applied the Drexler Sibbet Team Performance Model to their teams
Developed strategies to resolve their current leadership issues
Created and communicated a vision for organisational change for implementation following the programme
The participants presented their vision for change to their managers after the programme, and
were approved for implementation.
Colleagues throughout the organisation have confirmed the positive behavioural change can be
seen in the individual participants and best practice is visible in the organisation.
We’ve repeated the programme across various divisions in the organisation and Influential
Learning is now one of Innovex’s core training programmes.
A number of participants have chosen to experience the full TMS 1:1 coaching programme

Innovex have asked us to design follow up workshops to further establish best practice.
We are currently planning to roll-out the workshop across Europe.
